Επιβατικός λιμένας Καβάλας ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΟΣ ΠΑΥΛΟΣ

The passenger port “APOSTOLOS PAVLOS” is surrounded by the city and until 2002 it was the central point of maritime transport in the wider region of Kavala. In October 2002 the freight transport was moved to the Port “Filippos B” and the central port is now used:

  • font-awesomefor the transport of passengers, with daily ferry routes to and from Thassos and regular routes to Limnos, Mytilene, Chios and Samos
  • font-awesomefor tourism, since cruise ships and pleasure yachts reach the central port of Kavala
  • font-awesomefor the fishing fleet, used as fishing reserve
  • font-awesomefor nautical sports

The central port has a total platform length of 1,950m and depth of 4m to 10m.
